By May 2021, Nichols’ script was completed, but in October, he was eliminated from the film considering multiple creative differences. Finally, in January 2022, Sarnoski was declared to replace Nichols as a director and a writer and was approached by Krasinski, considering his indie feature directorial debut ‘Pig’ (2021).
