Recently, Alia Bhatt was seen stunning at the Met Gala 2024 draped in a custom Sabyasachi saree, styled by the long-standing iconic stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania to honor the theme for this year, “The Garden of Time.” The saree took a team of 163 artisans and around 1965 hours to create with a 23-foot-long train with hand-embroidered sequins, semi-precious stones, and beads. However, days later, she made it to the headlines again, this time for making it to the Blockout List for keeping her silence on the Gaza and Israel conflict. The actress is currently being criticized for her silence against the Israeli Attack on Gaza.

Blockout List is a list curated by movie and entertainment industry fans to classify the celebrities that have stayed mum on the Gaza and Israel conflict. Many stars like Priyanka Chopra and her husband, Nick Jonas, have also been on the list. The main reason behind the list is to start a movement to make celebrities open up about the traumatic climate and promote peace regarding the Palestine-Israel conflict.
