The community has borne the draconian law, which is secrecy and fear among the community due to the institutionalised discrimination.
Repealing Article 377: A Legacy
September 6 2018, marked a red letter day for the LGBTQ+ community when the Indian Supreme Court presented a landmark judgement. On this day, article 377 was repealed by presenting consent for same-sex relationships. The historical verdict came as a monumental victory for the LGBTQ+ community. A journey towards inclusivity and human rights started for the community. Chief Justice Dipak Mishra, the steersman, hailed the flag, presenting rights and dignity. History should apologise for the attitude and behaviours towards the LGBTQ+ community.
A fight for social recognition

This society needs to reshape its commitment and continue the battle for equality. Everyone deserves to live and find love in anyone.
