History will be written again on Saturday, June 1st (UEFA Champions League), at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, where the best will be crowned after the ultimate match. Dortmund confirmed its place by defeating Paris Saint-Germain in the finals, while Real Madrid is a 14-time champion that toppled Bayern Munchen. The recent head-to-head record for the teams is Real Madrid 4 wins, Borussia 3 wins and three draws.

UEFA 2024: Will Dortmund make more money if they lose?

Bellingham was transferred from Dortmund to Real Madrid under an agreement. A clause on that agreement states that if Bellingham wins the UEFA Champions League, Madrid would have to pay a whopping 20 million euros to Dortmund, the same amount of money as the winner, moreover, the runner-up will receive 15 million. If Dortmund loses the finals, it will supposedly receive 35 million!

What happens in case of a tie?

If the score after the end of the expected time remains the same by both teams, an extra 15-minute period is played. If a team successfully scores more goals than the other, the respective team is declared the winner. However, if the score remains equal, the winner is decided by a penalty shoot-out.
