The charges stemmed from a November 6, 2021 incident where former friend Terell Ephron claimed Rocky shot at him during an argument, grazing his knuckles.
2
Rocky denied the charges, claiming the weapon was a prop gun and suggesting Ephron (A$AP Relli) was motivated by money.
3
Upon hearing the verdict, Rocky emotionally jumped over a barrier to embrace Rihanna and their two sons, RZA and Riot, who were present in court.
4
The incident occurred near Hollywood Walk of Fame following a disagreement between the former friends, who knew each other since high school.
5
Central to the trial was whether the weapon was a real gun or prop gun - the weapon was never recovered by authorities.
6
Ephron waited two days to report the incident and brought shell casings he claimed to have found, though police found none at the scene initially.
7
Rocky's defense suggested Ephron planted the shell casings to frame the rapper, and no surveillance footage corroborated Ephron's account.
8
The trial featured unusual moments, including Rocky shouting "Don't say!" when a witness was questioned about the meaning of "AWGE."
9
Rocky is now set to release his first solo album in nearly a decade and will co-headline LA's Rolling Loud festival in March 2025.
