Linking Aadhaar with your bank account is mandatory to access benefits under the Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) Scheme.
2
Members can seed their UAN with Aadhaar themselves through the EPFO member portal, after which employer approval completes the linkage.
3
The e-KYC Portal on EPFO's website or e-KYC service in the UMANG app allows members to link UAN with Aadhaar without employer intervention.
4
UAN is a 12-digit number assigned to each EPFO member that serves as an umbrella for multiple Member IDs across different jobs.
5
A KYC-verified UAN enables direct access to various online services without requiring employer assistance.
6
To seed KYC details with UAN, login to the EPF account at the unified member portal and select the "KYC" option in the "Manage" section.
7
After selecting which details to link (PAN, Bank Account, Aadhaar), fill required fields and click "Save" to submit your request.
8
Your request will initially show as "KYC Pending for Approval" until employer verification, after which it changes to "Digitally approved by the employer."
9
Once UIDAI confirms your details, the status "Verified by UIDAI" will be displayed against your Aadhaar information.
