Popular Indian YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia has recently fallen victim to a cyberattack. Through his Instagram account, he mentioned that both of his YouTube channels had been hacked. The name of the BeerBicep channel was changed to @Elon.trump.tesla_live2024, whereas his personal channel named Ranveer Allahbadia was changed to @Tesla.event.trump_2024. The majority of his video content (interviews and podcasts) have been deleted by the anonymous hacker, replacing them with old streams from events featuring Elon Musk and Donald Trump. YouTube India was quick to repose, as they took down both the hacked channels, displaying the message, “This page isn’t available.”

Ranveer started his YouTube journey after the completion of his graduation when he was only 22 years old. At first, his main channel, BeerBicep, was focused on fitness, exercise as well as nutrition. However, as his reach began to grow, he started experimenting with his content including men’s fashion, grooming, personal development, and mental health. Ranveer Allahbadia and his team have not provided any direct response to the hack; however, he has indirectly addressed the situation through his Instagram account. He posts a picture of his meal and writes, “Celebrating my two main channels being hacked with my favourite food. Vegan burgers. Death of BeerBiceps met with Death of diet.” Later, he added another story; he posted a selfie with an eye mask and wrote, “Is this the end of my YouTube career? Was nice knowing you all”. Reclaiming a hacked YouTube account is a difficult task; however, there is still hope that Mr Allahbadia might be able to recover both of his accounts.
